A BETTER LIFE- Eddie Raye Andrews

In this wonderful episode, Eddie Raye Andrews shares her life's journey with us.

Eddie Raye has been married to her husband, Donald, for 60 years. Donald was Eddie Raye’s high school beau. They were both saved when they got married.

They attend Waller Baptist Church and have been serving in ministry for over 56 years. Donald serves in leadership as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He has taught the Men’s Sunday School class for the last 20 years.

Eddie Raye has served in the music and bereavement ministries. She visits and prays for those that are sick. She has also faithfully attended Women’s Bible Studies. Eddie Raye has always been prepared to serve and help wherever there is a need. She and Donald have trusted the Lord to lead them in His service. They believe strongly and firmly in the power of prayer. Eddie Raye knows without a doubt that God answers prayer in His way and in His timing. She is a living witness of answered prayer in her life.

Donald and Eddie Raye have two children and two grandchildren. They are a strong, close-knit family.  

About 25 years ago, Eddie Raye was not feeling well. She felt like everything started crashing around her. Things that were once little became big things. Little molehills were now appearing to be big mountains. She seemed to be surrounded with darkness. She also began to cry constantly and for no reason. She felt all alone and that no one was there to help her.  Things were very scary and were getting out of hand. She was afraid. 

But God intervened. Eddie Raye was blessed with a good, concerned Christian friend. Her name was Martha. Martha gave her godly advice, and her world has never been the same.

Eddie Raye is here to share her godly wisdom and precious nuggets on depression, marriage, godly friendships, prayer, and trusting God.
